Street Food

Spent a day in different parts of downtown Seoul which is about an hour away by subway.  The crowds and shopping are way too much for me, but I go for the street food!

Grilled skewered squid and octopus are super popular. They finish it with  mayo and fish flakes!
Green onion pancakes and surprise on a stick!
                                                                   Custard tarts
                                                    Dumplings, fried shrimp and kimchi
Fresh fish market like Pike Place times a thousand.  Goes on literally for  blocks!
Cornbread with  fried egg--just needs hollandaise!
                                                         More yummy fried shrimp
Fried veggies and my favorite so far, a whole fried sweet potato... sublime.
A machine pumps out these air popped corn cones and they fill them with ice cream.
Green tea in one hand, chocolate/vanilla in the other
Who knew they loved waffles here?  Often stuffed with ice cream.
This is a corn dog with cut-up fries on the outside and deep fried for your pleasure!
Ice cream is served so many ways here and oh so tasty! Chopped mango and lychee.
These sweet red bean stuffed pockets of dough are sensational!
This is the ever-popular sliced russet potato skewered and fried with your choice of seasoning.

On the left is the traditional rice cake noodles in a spicy red pepper/garlic sauce.  Cheap, filling and hot!
